The Copper House Bathroom
Microcement, wall to floor, warm stone grey against a copper-toned floor. A small room made to feel calm, seamless, and a good bit bigger than it actually is
LOCATION : Private residence Microcement
FINISH : wall & floor
COLOUR : Warm stone grey, copper toned floor
DURATION : 14 working days
OVERVIEW
This was a small, oddly-shaped bathroom that I brought back as one continuous microcement surface, floor running straight into the shower wall, not a joint anywhere.
THE CHALLENGE
There wasn't much room for error given how tight the space was; every corner had to be trowelled dead true, with the copper fittings and warm terracotta floor doing the only talking against the grey.
THE OUTCOME
A calm, seamless room that feels bigger than its footprint, with the copper fittings and warm floor tone left to carry the whole look
